Back in high school, we called ourselves the Vetoes. Looking back, that was pretty embarassing XD We were so different, yet inseparable. We had different dreams and ambitions. Years later, well… here we are.

Top left inspired by Cloverfield. Top middle is some weird…eye monster thing…and top right was drawn when I was feeling particularly frustrated in class 8D I guess Bottom right was inspired by Bleach or something.

Maira, Sofea and Imaan: Best friends in high school.
Maira was the quiet prefect who always did everything by the book; Sofea was the straight A’s honours student, though she could be a little bit too blunt and insensitive; and Imaan was the friendly, talkative and just a little bit rebellious one out of the three. Despite their differences, they were inseparable, and they stood by each other through thick and thin… before they went their separate ways.

Apple cheeks.
Whenever Maira feels embarrassed or flustered, her whole face turns bright red - so everyone calls her “Apple cheeks”.
Incidentally, the prophet Rasulullah SAW used to tease his wife Aishah RA with the nickname “Humairah” which means “red cheeks”… So it just kinda clicked to me that the nickname Maira Humairah is perfect for Maira XD
